Who is the Founder and Director of Camp Bahamas?Richard Albury is the Founder and Director of Camp Bahamas. Since 2003, Richard and his wife, Andrea Albury, have faithfully led Camp Bahamas, providing teens with a Christ-centered summer camp experience.

Who are the counselors and staff at Camp Bahamas?Camp Bahamas has a hand-selected, reliable, and well-trained full-time staff, along with 40+ summer leadership team members and counselors. Together, they create and ensure a safe, happy, and smooth camp environment for your child!

Where is Camp Bahamas located?Camp Bahamas is located 20 minutes south of Governor’s Harbour and directly across from Windermere Island in beautiful Eleuthera, Bahamas.

What are the dates for camp sessions?Summer 2025 offers four exciting camp opportunities for your child! Sessions run between July 13th and August 10th: Week 1: July 13–18 Week 2: July 20–25 Week 3: July 27–August 1 CB EXTRA: August 3–August 10

What does a typical day at Camp Bahamas look like?Every day at Camp Bahamas is filled with friendship, mentorship, and fun! Campers enjoy 3 delicious, fresh meals per day prepared by our on-site chefs and a customized schedule packed with activities like sailing, paintball, basketball, jet skiing, ziplining, a 300-foot waterslide, and so much more — all within a safe, positive, Christ-centered environment.

What is the age range for campers?Campers between the ages of 11 and 17 who are still enrolled in high school are welcome at Camp Bahamas.

Transportation Info — How do campers get to Camp Bahamas?Nassau Campers: Campers traveling from Nassau are transported to Eleuthera via Bahamas Fast Ferries. Camp Bahamas organizes ticketing directly, and ferry transportation is included in the camp pricing. Family Island Campers (Outside Eleuthera): Transportation to Eleuthera is not provided by Camp Bahamas, but we do offer transportation from qualifying Eleuthera airports for an additional $25 fee. Eleuthera Campers: Campers already located on Eleuthera can be dropped off directly at Camp Bahamas during scheduled drop-off hours. CB also provides scheduled drop-off locations at select settlements, offering a safe and hassle-free way for campers to get to camp!

What items should campers pack?A detailed packing list will be sent to each camper prior to their scheduled camp week.

What will I do at Camp Bahamas?Every day is packed with friendship, mentorship, and fun! You’ll have a custom activity schedule filled with options like sailing, paintball, basketball, jet skiing, ziplining, a 300-foot waterslide, and so much more — all in a positive, Christ-centered environment.

What if I don't know anybody at camp?Lots of campers come to Camp Bahamas without knowing anyone — so you’re not alone! As soon as you step onto camp grounds, you’ll be met with so much love and encouragement. By the end of the week, you’ll have more friends than you can count — we promise 😉. At camp, we always say: "Camp friends are forever friends!"

How are cabins assigned? Can I choose my cabinmates?Cabins are assigned by age groups. If you're coming to CB with someone in the same age group, chances are you'll be in the same cabin! You can always send us a DM on Instagram (@campbahamas) or put a note on your registration form and let us know if there's someone you want to room with, and we'll try our best to make it happen!

What’s the food like at camp?Our full team of chefs prepares three delicious, well-balanced meals every single day! We have a diverse menu designed to fuel all the fun you'll be having — and trust us, the food is amaaaaazing.

Are there sports or team competitions?Yes! Every camper at Camp Bahamas gets a customized schedule based on what you love to do. When you register, you’ll tell us your favorite activities — whether that's basketball, soccer, or something else — and we’ll make sure you get to do them every day! We also split campers into teams — Red Snappers, YellowFin Tunas, Green Morays, and Blue Marlins — all led by hand-picked team leaders. Throughout the week, you’ll compete in fun games, challenges, and activities to earn points for your team. (May the best team win! 👀)

Can I come with my friends?Absolutely! You’re welcome to come with your friends, and you’ll make even more new friends at camp through your cabin, your team, and our amazing CB counselors!
